Friday, June 10, was a long, intense day, full of meetings, a day to put a face to colleagues and training and updating activities.

That morning, the Ideas MedioAmbiental installations were a bustling space in which we had the opportunity to receive colleagues who carry out their tasks remotely from all over the geography of the Spanish state.

Meetings, planned and improvised meetings, training workshops and a massive meal followed by a long dinner. We share some images from the Ideas 'summer event'.

Workshop on Accident Prevention and Safety at Work, which addressed issues such as:

  1. EPIs to be used in the construction phase of projects.
  2. General safety and health measures under construction in current projects.
  3. Procedure to be followed in blasting.
  4. Reminder of the importance of safety in general and especially on construction sites.

Workshop on field data collection tools with portable devices.

This workshop could be followed both in person and remotely. In it, demonstrations were made and technical and methodological questions were resolved on various aspects of data collection for the inventory of the diversity of flora and fauna in different ecosystems, as well as the subsequent treatment for the preparation of reports.

Finally, the rest of the day was dedicated to living together

Noise isn't good, but good doesn't make noise

On International Noise Awareness Day, we remember that reducing acoustic impact is key to protecting our health and biodiversity: you don't always have to make noise to get noticed, you just need to find the right sound.
