World Earth Day is commemorated on April 22, and April 23 is also a prominent day on the calendar. In Aragon they celebrate Community Day, as Saint George is their patron, as in other countries such as Bulgaria, Ethiopia, England or Georgia. He is also the Patron Saint of other cities in the Spanish geography such as Cáceres, Alcoi, Lucena, etc., and of towns closer to the facilities of Environmental Ideas such as Golosalvo and Madrigueras. In Catalonia it is also known as the 'Day of the Rose and the Llibre', due to the tradition of giving this flower as a gift, and readings.
The Ideas MedioAmbiental team wanted to join this beautiful Book Day Festival, which is celebrated throughout our geography, sharing some readings with special meaning for us because of their theme: Earth, the Environment, Sustainability, as we had already done by sharing some titles about emptied Spain and the rural world in this paper published in our blog.
Surely you can get them at the bookstore in your neighborhood, or you can discover others.
Happy reading!
