Blue Room Innovation is a leader in the use of blockchain technology to track products and waste, thus promoting circularity in supply chains. This technology has proven to be a key ally for recording and tracking environmental assets, such as carbon emission rights, renewable energy certificates and carbon offset credits. Its ability to create unalterable and transparent records guarantees the authenticity and ownership of these assets, prevents fraud and ensures that environmental benefits are kept intact.
At Ideas MedioAmbiental, we have accumulated years of experience in projects related to waste management, the measurement of carbon and water footprints. Our multidisciplinary team carries out socioeconomic and environmental impact studies, identifies and characterizes the actors involved, develops strategic plans for local employment and analyzes the industrial value chain, among other tasks. This experience is essential for creating digital products that truly meet industry demands.
Currently, both companies are immersed in the definition of the actions that we will carry out in this collaboration. One of the highlights and joint projects under development is the evolution of the Digital Product Passport and Digital Waste Product Passport on the CircularTrust blockchain network. These “digital passports” collect essential information about products and their supply chains, from the origin of the materials to sustainability indicators such as the carbon footprint. This empowers consumers to better understand the products they use and their impact on the environment, thus facilitating the transition to a circular economy.
