Who evaluates your Environmental Impact Study? In this article, we present a map that places all the environmental assessment bodies in Spain.

It is known that the environmental impact assessment of projects constitute an appropriate instrument for preserving the environment, sometimes (in many cases) it becomes, in the eyes of promoters and designers, a major obstacle to the execution and implementation of their project, so both environmental consultants and public administrations try to prevent this from happening, each in a different way, but always in order to ensure that the developer is able to bring his project to fruition in the best possible way, from an environmental point of view.

For this reason, one of the main premises we take into account is the constant information about the Environmental Impact Assessment process that is being carried out for the current project, and although it is true that the flow of information between developer or planner-environmental consultant or consultant-environmental-Public Administration is satisfactory, we believe that the flow of information between the developer and/or planner-Public Administration is not so satisfactory.

Understanding that Public Administrations and specifically the services responsible for the procedures of Environmental Assessment they have a duty to report the processing status of each file, we have decided to include in this article, as a help, a map-directory with the contact form of each of the above-mentioned services in the different provinces and autonomous communities.

The ultimate objective of this map is for both developers and designers to know how to access each entity, which sometimes, and even for those of us who work with you every day in this area, is tedious given the encryption of some email addresses or contact numbers.

Without prejudice to the fact that our clients know who to turn to in case of doubt, thanks to this map, at Ideas MedioAmbiental we closely monitor the Environmental Impact Assessment file of each project and we are in constant contact with the Administrations that evaluate it.

Click on each “I” on this map and you will be able to access all the information about each environmental impact assessment service in Spain, as well hither you can download the complete list with all the agencies.
