Today we share with you one of our most important milestones in terms of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in 2024. Our Equality Plan.

Equality in our business culture

On February 2, the effective record of the I Plan for Equality of Environmental Ideas, which will be in effect for the next four years (2024-2027), applying to the entire workforce.

The main objectives of this first Plan are to integrate the gender perspective into the culture of the organization, as well as to eliminate any type of direct or indirect discrimination in it. With all this, it is intended to:

  • Improve the management and operation of the entity.
  • Optimize human resources and facilitate greater retention and utilization of talent, as well as staff loyalty.
  • Improve the work environment, motivating work teams and increasing their commitment to the company.
  • Improve external image and public recognition
  • Provide competitive advantages in the establishment of contracts with public administrations.
  • Make it possible to detect situations of discrimination and to act to avoid the imposition of sanctions by the Labor Authority.

Priority areas for achieving equal opportunities

After preparing the corresponding situation diagnosis, the negotiating committee has established 73 concrete measures, based on 12 areas of action.

These measures focus on the responsible exercise of the rights to reconcile personal, family and work life, in the improvement of working conditions and in strengthening the language, communication and business image, among others.

Evaluate and move forward

In order to ensure effective compliance with the actions and objectives proposed in this First Equality Plan, as well as to detect possible problems, a schedule is established for monitoring and evaluation.

In this way, transparency is encouraged and a continuous commitment to equal opportunities is demonstrated in the entity.
