The objective of this document is to establish an efficient and sustainable method as a protocol for unpacking photovoltaic modules. A responsible person orNboxing environmental.

In a visual way, we want to give some advice so that during the distribution, and subsequent installation of the panels, non-hazardous waste (wood, cardboard, plastic and waste) does not disperse on the work, thus favoring their collection, improving efficiency in waste management and saving resources in subsequent cleaning operations.

1st Phase: Reception and distribution of panels through streets

They must be distributed efficiently, placing the modules in the immediate vicinity of the installation areas. This order avoids the subsequent transfer of light machinery by distributing modules without packaging, and therefore without protection. A deteriorated module generates WEEEs.

2nd Phase: Unpacking and segregation of waste

The outer plastic, the cardboard that wraps the containers, the cardboard corners, the straps... all the parts not installed are part of the material that cannot be abandoned in the field. Its removal must be carried out immediately. Be careful with small material: corners, caps, etc. Carrying a bag helps to remove the material, so that it does not remain on the floor.

3rd Phase: Pick-up and Final Destination

Once all the modules have been installed, the base of the package will be used to deposit all the collected waste. These folded and closed will serve as temporary reservoirs for transfer to the clean area of the work.
