Our Christmas basket this year

From Environmental Ideas we have been preparing the Christmas basket for several weeks. The giving of this gift to colleagues and collaborators is a custom, a brand of the house, in which we get involved and put all our gratitude and enthusiasm into.

We want to keep the continent and contents of this year's basket a secret, and make it a surprise; thus maintaining tradition in its delivery. Which, despite the changes it has undergone over the years, has always wanted to express our gratitude to all the people and entities that have shown and show their support to us.

On this occasion, there are several circumstances that have led us to renew it, and that therefore make its elaboration something very special.

From the outside to the inside. And starting with the wrapper. This has been made with recyclable materials, it couldn't be any other way, and manufactured with the hands of specialists with great skills. The association AFAEPS has helped us to build the baskets and fill them with thanks in the form of traditional products from our region and made by local entities.

A “basket” that you can't see, full of social commitment and good friends

Within our policy of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), in addition to our contributions and collaborations, we take this opportunity to make a donation. On behalf of all the members of Ideas, we make a financial contribution to a local or national association or social entity. And for this year we wanted to give our support and recognition to the association AFAEPS. This social entity, with a history of more than twenty-five years, works to improve the living conditions of people affected by mental illness as well as that of their families. Which promotes values such as participation, equality, dignity and self-determination; which together with its social commitment to contribute socially and environmentally to society, we share, and vindicate with these actions.

In addition to these specific campaigns, throughout the year we collaborated with other organizations, such as Friends of Mali, supplier of our famous organic nuts, we got into the suitcase of the Quijote Team in its Zambia Challenge, we filled with flowers The Plaza de Letur thanks to Joan, we distribute plants to runners in solidarity with the La Esperanza Phone, we raffled poinsettias at the solidarity breakfast of Afanion, and we continue to support our friends from Caritas, Action Against Hunger And the Vicente Ferrer Foundation.

We also promote good environmental practices, through the development of campaigns that are committed to reducing and eliminating plastic. This year we have continued with the distribution of reusable bags, to which we have added green bottles. These containers can help you replace single-use and hard-to-recycle containers.

Our “basket” for sports

Finally, we don't want to forget our commitment to the promotion of sport: We sponsor the day: How to achieve the impossible, master's teaching on the experience of overcoming mountaineers Alex Txikon on the occasion of the anniversary of the College of Economists of Albacete. If you're a regular on trails, you might have been able to see our friends The Kenyans with their not discreet equipment. And this season we will give our full support to PreBenjamin team from Albacer And to Youth mountain school in Castilla La Mancha.
