Today, December 11, is International Mountain Day and we want to celebrate by sharing this infographic with you. Are you doing the right thing when you spend a day in the mountains? I'm sure your intention is to do it, but many times we don't know that certain behaviors can be negative for the mountains and for the animals and plants that live there.
We recommend the following guidelines:
- Respect regulations for threatened fauna or flora.
- Be careful during the breeding season of the fauna.
- Do not collect plants without knowing them and without permits, they could be threatened.
- Use caution in winter during periods of bat hibernation.
- Respect the periods of prohibition against making fires, avoid fires due to absurd carelessness.
- Camp only in places enabled for this purpose.
- Minimize making noises, so you can enjoy the sounds of nature.
- Keep your pets under control, especially during wildlife breeding season.
- Take all the garbage with you, the environment does not need it.
- If you go to the mountains with children, teach them to respect the environment and its biodiversity.
- Don't feed wildlife.
- Always walk along paths and paths, avoid opening new paths.
