The School Garden, a fantastic teaching resource that promotes comprehensive learning for boys and girls, and that according to the blog of Vicens Vives can provide boys and girls with the following benefits:
- Allow the Learning by Doing (try, experiment and learn by doing).
- It improves qualities such as commitment, patience, responsibility or companionship, among others.
- It encourages teamwork by sharing tasks and improves organizational skills.
- It provides knowledge about the products to be consumed and promotes a healthy and balanced diet.
- And of course, it creates awareness of care and the values of respect for the environment.
And for all these reasons, this spring we decided to contribute our seed (or rather, seedlings) to the CRA Our Lady of the Rosary and more specifically to his school in La Felipa (Albacete) so that his students can experience first-hand what a school garden is.
Our sincerest congratulations to the teachers for their great involvement in activities like this.
